Naips - Trusted Emergency Lighting Expertise Since 2011

Naips - Trusted Emergency Lighting Expertise Since 2011

In 2011, a team of lighting engineers in Foshan, China, identified a persistent gap in the emergency lighting supply chain: most manufacturers offered off-the-shelf solutions built on conventional battery chemistries, with little understanding of the unique demands of life-safety applications.

That insight became NAIPS — a brand purpose-built for LED emergency lighting. Under the parent company FOSHAN NAI'AN LIGHTING APPLIANCE CO., LTD (with international operations through Artica Commerce Co., Ltd HK), we set out to create emergency lighting products that prioritized safety, longevity, and global compliance above all else.

Our pivotal decision came early: adopt LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) as our core battery technology. At a time when the industry defaulted to standard lithium-ion or NiCd batteries, we recognized that LiFePO4's thermal stability, 2,000+ cycle life, and zero thermal runaway risk made it the ideal chemistry for life-safety systems.

Today, NAIPS products protect buildings across 60+ countries — from commercial high-rises in Southeast Asia to industrial facilities in the Middle East and public infrastructure in Australia. Every emergency driver we produce carries the full weight of our engineering commitment: CE, CB, and SAA certifications, in-house PCB design, and a 100% factory test protocol.

We are not the largest emergency lighting manufacturer. We aim to be the most trusted.

Brand Mission & Vision

Mission:

To deliver the safest, most reliable LED emergency lighting solutions through continuous innovation in battery technology, circuit design, and global compliance — empowering our partners to protect lives with confidence.

Vision:

To be the world's most trusted emergency LED driver and lighting manufacturer — recognized by specifiers, distributors, and contractors for technical excellence, certification breadth, and partnership integrity.

Core Values

1. Safety First — In Every Component

Emergency lighting is life-safety equipment. We treat every solder joint, every battery cell, and every circuit trace as critical. Our LiFePO4 platform reflects this philosophy: we chose the safest lithium chemistry available, not the cheapest.

2. Engineering-Driven Innovation

We invest in in-house R&D — from PCB topology design to thermal management simulation. Our engineers don't just assemble components; they architect solutions tailored to the specific demands of emergency operation.

3. Global Compliance as Standard

We don't treat certifications as an afterthought. CE, CB, SAA, and IEC 60598-2-22 compliance is built into our product development process from day one, not added at the end.

4. Continuous Improvement

Every product return, field report, and customer inquiry feeds back into our design process. Our current-generation drivers represent iterative improvements across thousands of real-world deployments.

5. Partnership Over Transaction

We build long-term relationships with our distribution and project partners. Our OEM/ODM flexibility, technical support commitment, and pricing stability reflect a philosophy of mutual growth.

Our Manufacturing & R&D Capabilities

Facility Overview:

NAIPS operates from a modern manufacturing facility in Foshan, Guangdong Province — the heartland of China's lighting industry. Our vertically integrated production line covers:

PCB Design & Assembly (SMT lines with AOI inspection)

Battery Pack Assembly (LiFePO4 cell sorting, matching, and pack building)

LED Driver Assembly & Potting (thermal compound application, conformal coating)

Finished Luminaire Assembly (exit signs, bulkheads, downlights, twin spots)

Testing Laboratory (electrical safety, battery cycle testing, environmental chambers)

R&D Capabilities:

Our engineering team specializes in:

Power electronics design for emergency driver topologies

LiFePO4 battery management systems (BMS) with overcharge, over-discharge, and short-circuit protection

Thermal management for enclosed luminaires

EMC/EMI compliance design for global markets

Custom firmware for emergency self-test and battery monitoring functions

Manufacturing Capability & Quality Control

Production Capacity:

Our facility supports flexible production runs from prototype quantities (50 units) to mass production orders (50,000+ units per month). Key capabilities include:

Monthly emergency driver output: 【50,000+ units】

Monthly luminaire output: 【20,000+ units】

Standard lead time: 15–25 working days (depending on order volume)

OEM/ODM development cycle: 20–45 days (from specification to first article)

Quality Control Process:

Every NAIPS product undergoes a rigorous multi-stage inspection protocol:

Incoming Material Inspection (IQC) — battery cells, PCB components, enclosures

In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) — SMT AOI inspection, solder joint verification, functional testing

Final Quality Control (FQC) — 100% burn-in test, emergency activation test, battery capacity verification

Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) — random sampling per AQL standards, packaging integrity check

Global Certifications & Compliance

Recommended: Display certification logos with brief descriptions. Link to dedicated Certifications page.

CE Marking (European Conformity):

All NAIPS emergency drivers and luminaires carry CE certification, confirming compliance with the EU Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU), EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), and RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU). CE marking enables free distribution across 30+ European Economic Area countries.

CB Scheme (IEC System for Conformity Assessment):

Our CB-certified products are recognized by 50+ member countries under the IECEE CB Scheme. This eliminates redundant testing requirements and accelerates market access for our global distribution partners.

SAA Approval (Standards Australia):

NAIPS emergency lighting products carry SAA certification, meeting AS/NZS 60598-2-22 and AS/NZS 2293 requirements for the Australian and New Zealand markets. This is a critical differentiator for our Oceanian distribution partners.

IEC 60598-2-22 Compliance:

All products are designed and tested to IEC 60598-2-22 — the international standard for emergency luminaires. This covers emergency mode activation time (≤5 seconds), duration testing (90 min / 180 min / 3 hours), luminance output, and environmental resilience.
